G430 Fairways

Sizing up your approach into a long par 4, going for the par-5 in two, you want 100% confidence that your fairway wood will give you solid contact, speed, and higher ball flight to get you home. In the G430 fairways, we've developed Carbonfly Wrap to deliver more distance by positioning the CG closer to the force line to maximize ball speed, resulting in higher, longer carries, whether you're fit for the MAX, SFT, LST model. They also rely on Facewrap and Spinsistency, two proven technologies that contribute to distance gains and spin consistency across the clubface.

The Technology

• Carbonfly Wrap: A lightweight composite crown that wraps into the heel and toe sections of the skirt, reallocating weight to lower the CG and increase ball speed, contributing to a pleasing sound.
• Facewrap Technology: A variable-thickness, high-strength maraging steel face that wraps into the sole and crown, generating more flexing for faster ball speed with higher launch for greater distance.
• A variable roll radius improves performance across the face by reducing spin to increase ball speed and distance from the maraging steel face.
• Powerful Construction: In the LST, a 2041 Beta-Ti Facewrap, Ti 8-1-1 body, and 80-gram tungsten sole plate position the CG low/back for faster ball speed with reduced spin, producing on average 7 yards more distance.

Adjust Loft, Lie

To customize ball flight, Trajectory Tuning 2.0 utilizes a lightweight, aerodynamic hosel sleeve that provides eight positions, adjusting for loft (±1.5°) and lie (up to 3° flatter than std.).

Forgiving Heads

Each of the models is engineered to ensure added distance and forgiveness for a variety of skill levels. The MAX fits the widest range of golfers with four options (3W, 5W, 7W, 9W), while the SFT produces right-to-left shot correction in three heads (3W, 5W, 7W). The tour-style LST (3W) best fits faster swing speeds.

HL (High Launch) Build

A 5.5-gram backweight, PING ALTA Quick shaft, and 41-gram Lamkin UTx grip make up the HL (high launch) build in the MAX and SFT fairways, helping slower swing speeds generate the clubhead speed that produces faster ball velocity and higher launch.

PING-Engineered Shafts

Our proprietary ALTA CB Black delivers a mid-to-high trajectory, and the PING Tour 2.0 Chrome offers low to mid launch. The ALTA Quick provides more speed and higher launch from slower swing speeds.

Optional Shafts

The Project X Hzrdus Smoke Red RDX delivers mid launch and mid spin, the Mitsubishi Kai'Li White produces low launch and low spin.
